Minutes of the AirMasters meeting February 13, 2010
Richard Clang called the meeting to order. The attendance at this meeting was 14 members.
Board of Directors: No meeting
Committee Reports: No Committee's
Secretary's Report:
The meeting was called to order February 13, 2010 at 9:00AM at the Airmasters flying field, Sebastian Florida. Reading of the minutes was suspended. The motion was carried.
Treasure's Report:
Tom Kempf reported that the club has $21,394.06 on hand as of 31 January. The club expenses for the months of January/February 2010 were $441.36. Income for this period was $0.00. We are on the projected forecast for the end of the calendar year. The motion carried.
Safety Coordinator's Report:
Richard Clang, acting safety coordinator reported that there were no serious incidents this month. Again, please crash land your aircraft if you fly past the canal on the south side of the field.
Field Marshal's Report:
Bob Hay not present. The removal of the sand was unsuccessful. The field has been fertilized and is in good condition. The recent rains should help considerably. There are plans to improve the road in at a later time this year. Bob will cooperate completely to help with planned repairs to the flying field.
Membership Chairman's Report:
Robert Hudon reported that the membership stands at 118 new and renewed members.
Newsletter Editor's Report:
Newsletter sent out to non e-mail address; copies placed at the field, the local hobby shops and posted to our web site.
Web Master's Report:
Tom MacLean asked that if members have items for sale; please give him the information so it can be posted to the web site. Descriptions and digital pictures of items for sale can be sent to kozmoz318@bellsouth.net Please refresh your browser upon visiting the website from favorites. Removal of the sand was tried and unsuccessful.
New Business:
The AirMasters would like to thank all of the brave souls who came out in the cold to attend this brief meeting. The meeting was very short and sweet. General provisions under the bylaws will be changed to reflect the changes to allow for 2.4GHz use at the field. Membership renewal for the year fell short of expected. As always, all those who have not renewed yet may mail in their information to the club address.
